Hidden hunger affects 4 out of 10 people worldwide, trapping them in cycles of illness and poverty.
Thrive for Good empowers communities to break free from these cycles by teaching and equipping them to grow an abundance of organic food sustainably.
The Problem:
Hidden hunger is a chronic lack of essential nutrients. It exists when people survive on low-cost foods that don’t provide enough nutrition to prevent disease. The world grows more food than ever. Fewer people go hungry. Yet, billions of people cannot afford the nutritious foods that are necessary for health.
The Solution:
Thrive for Good is on a mission to end hidden hunger and poverty.
Our solution is simple: We help people to grow their own nutritious food sustainably. Thrive provides training, simple tools, and starter seeds, the essentials for growing healthy, disease-fighting foods for a lifetime cost of only US $15 per person.
The outcomes are transformative. Families get ahead. Children flourish and reach their potential. People have hope for a better future.

Hunger for nutrition is universal, but access is not. Thrive for Good empowers people to grow an abundance of life-giving foods.
“For years we have been looking for a more sustainable approach to our feeding programs, and we’ve finally found it! Our partnership with Thrive for Good has produced incredible results. It brings me so much joy to see communities working together to meet the nutritional needs of families and it gets even better when those families catch the vision and begin to grow high-quality produce in their own backyards. The team at Thrive for Good is incredibly generous with their time and expertise. Impact Nations is excited to expand our partnership to bring this transformational knowledge to many more communities in the future.”

“The Wiebe Foundation has been a cornerstone partner for Thrive for Good since 2021. Their trust and flexibility, most recently demonstrated by our successful expansion in South Africa, allow us to adapt to local needs and maximize our impact. Together, we are proving that empowering communities with the skills to grow their own nutrition is the most sustainable and cost-effective path to ending hidden hunger.”

“I am very happy that Thrive trained my son. I am a maize farmer myself. When my son came home from prison he told me all about what he had learned. I gave him some of my land and immediately he started digging in a way that I had never seen before. His plants did much better than any of mine. We are so grateful for the knowledge and skills that you have shared. We are a family of 19 and hunger is no longer a problem for us. May God bless all that you do to help people in prison and other communities.”

“Our lives were the definition of poverty. Myself, my 5 parent-less grandkids and the 5 other orphaned children that I took in. Everything changed when I had the opportunity to attend a 5-day workshop in my community. Immediately I started my own gardens at my home. Every square inch of my property was turned into different areas to grow health. Soon enough we had food. Food that filled our bodies and helped us to feel good. After our first harvest, we had way too much food. Not being able to store it, I decided to see if anyone would purchase my extra crops by laying them out on a blanket in front of my hut. For the first time in my life, I had enough food to feed my family and enough money to purchase a mattress.”
